While the Cup winners might just be seen taking it easy after a hectic schedule, the fringe players will work hard enough during the IPL, so that even once it ends, the limelight remains fixed on them — this time in the country's colours. “There comes a time in every sportsperson’s life when a player has to prove to himself that he belongs to this level. I’m probably going through that phase and would like to challenge myself in the IPL to win back my India place,” Ishant was quoted as saying in the website of the Deccan Chargers. Following a terrible run with the Kolkata Knight Riders, Ishant is hoping that his stint with the former champions is a better one.
